Every Sunday Organist Volume 1 is intended to provide both beginning and experienced church organists with music for each Sunday of the church year in one collection.  Preference is given to the one-year historic Lutheran lectionary.  It may be considered a supplement to the wonderful collection called 80 Choral Preludes (Achtzig Choralvorspiele), edited by Hermann Keller, or a gateway toward that book.

This book can also be used as a supplemental book for teaching beginning organists.  Some pieces are very simple, and others are easy to medium difficulty.  Most have minimal or no pedal required.
