Life is peaceful for the old woodcutter, his wife, and their grandson in the small village at the foot of the purple mountains. However, on one momentous day, their peace is broken by a shadowy threat. The boy must go on a dangerous quest to seek out the king, for only the king can save them. But the boy must remember what his grandfather has taught him: He must fear, love, and trust in the king above all things.
